How much do painters cost in New Zealand?
Charges typically range from $35-65 an hour depending on how much work is involved, where you are, and the materials required. We provide a complete quote so that you know exactly what you are getting.
Is it worth hiring a painter when I could do it myself?
Would you paint your car yourself? Then why paint your own house? Using a professional painter saves you time, has the right equipment and expertise, and gives a finish that will last. And, we do all the preparation and clean-up work.
I’m not sure what I want exactly, can you help?
Sometimes you know something needs to change, but figuring out the ‘what’ and ‘how’ is tricky. That’s how we can help. We’ll have a proper chat about what you’re thinking, take a look at your space, and give you honest suggestions to help you move forward.
Can you use some paint I already have?
Potentially. It depends on how old the paint is, how well it’s been stored, and whether we have enough for your project. We will decide during consultation.
How much paint will I need?
We calculate this for you based on the size of your project and the surface type. It’s included in our comprehensive quote to avoid any surprises.
Can I keep any leftover paint?
If you would like to, yes. Otherwise we can dispose of it responsibly.
How do I prepare for painting to start?
Just clear out the furniture and personal items from the space, and ensure the space is as clean as possible. Everything is thoroughly cleaned, sanded, and prepared for the surface by us.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we fully insure ourselves for professional indemnity for your peace of mind.
